So since Garnier has disabled her Facebook review and I can't "mention medical conditions" on her site, I'm dragging her here. I have a *severe* allergy to coconut, specifically coconut oil. Since this is just one of my main allergies, I read labels and ingredient lists *very* carefully. What I'm not is a chemist. So when I didn't see (coconut) on the ingredient list for this product, I bought it, along with a cleanser and moisturizer, based on reviews. The problem occurred with this product. Apparently, coco-betaine is synthesized from, you guessed it, coconut oil. So when I took off my eye makeup on Sunday, I immediately blushed terribly. I looked like I walked in the ring with Layla Ali and didn't win. Three days later I *still* have cross reactions and a feeling of lizard scales under my eyes and my skin is scaly. My right eye still looks like I was hit in the face. I live my life looking at labels because one wrong move can kill me. Labels must be carefully written to prevent such things. I'm lucky I didn't get anaphylaxis. Because of the terrible label. I don't have to be a chemist to live my damn life.
