This is exactly the blanket we were looking for. Keeps us warm but cool, just like a real duvet should be. BUT. This is NOT a standard queen. All our duvet covers are standard and too long for a duvet. It wasn't too much of a problem, it just gave me the extra work of sewing the ends of our duvet covers down to a smaller size, which took a little time. Because they are also very light, we have successfully machine washed this duvet. It takes A LOT of time to get it right but it's definitely a plus for a lighter duvet as the down has more room to move in the pockets and can be really fluffed up and with a little maintenance it'll be as good as new. .
