This cupcake, cake and tart bag is extra large! The dome can be raised or folded according to your needs. I made two tiers of cupcakes and the dome popped out. The cupcakes stayed in place throughout the 8 mile drive, but I lined them up on the car seat. I decided to put a non-slip pad under the bottom tray to keep it in place, but once the weight of the cupcakes and lid clicked into place, it still wouldn't budge. I also recently used it as a 9.5 inch cake coaster with the dome flipped down and it worked great! Easy to clean, I just hand wash it instead of using dishwasher space. I would recommend paying close attention when locking the clips to ensure they are all secure. I always keep my hand down when I'm wearing this kind of stuff because you never know that's why I do these kind of 'belt and suspenders' stuff Don't lose dessert.
