There's no better Wi-Fi camera for the money. Not the best action cam.

*Update* The camera still works as well as before. I wore them in a very bad mountain bike accident that pretty much ruined me but the camera was fine. It was on my chest, withstanding a strong hit that threw it off the wheel (which also hit me in the mouth, splitting both lips and snapping my front teeth) and kept recording the whole time. I'll try to find a video and post it. There are a few things I didn't mention before. This camera is NOT the same size as almost all other action cameras. It's a little bigger in every way. This means that it is not suitable for GoPro compatible accessories. It doesn't fit my Yi handheld gimbal, drones or any of my mounts. The waterproof case has the same mounts, so you can use it for anything that uses those mounts. Just note that it doesn't fit standard case mounts. That's why I recently gave them away. Another thing worth mentioning is that this camera is also known as Safari Wifi Action Camera. If you really need a battery, anything Safari-ready will work with this camera. However, spare batteries cost the same as this entire camera, so I would just buy them and get a spare battery. Let's face it, this is a true Wi-Fi action cam for less than $20. That fact alone makes it worth at least 3 stars. Also, I had no issues with the battery at all. I use it as a VCR. Another big plus is that it accepts my 128GB SD card. It also recognizes all 128GB, not just 32 as they say, that's the maximum. It has a handy loop recording feature and is ideal for use with a dashcam. It can be set to record when it receives a power signal from an auxiliary outlet. That means you don't have to hit the record button every time you log in. The wireless remote control is also a very nice plus. I have a sync with the phone over Wi-Fi. It works, but there are many lags. More than 10 seconds. But then again, this is a Wi-Fi camera that you can view and control from your phone for less than $20. Cons: No image stabilization. I have a Lightdow LD4000 which is a few light years better at keeping jitter to a minimum. May I recommend it? based. For DVR yes. For wide-angle Wi-Fi security cameras, yes. For an action cam? Oh no. It requires 60fps video, but it's so shaky that you can't get much detail or watch the video without a headache. It's not even that good on suspension. I bought it for mountain biking but it just can't do it. I tie it to my seatpost for a few shots, but it's completely useless on the handlebars, chest strap, and helmet mounts. Is it worth the money? No doubt it is. Just be aware that if you plan to use it for action movies, you won't like it.
