Hello everyone! I bought one of these towels to try before buying for my family. We FREQUENTLY go somewhere by the water (usually my father-in-law's house by the lake) and we needed something simpler to travel with than all the towels we collect in drawers. Decided to try the Turkish towel. Folded up, 5 of these equals maybe 3 of our regular towels, of which we usually carry 8 at a time. When we drove to the lake the other day, I checked it out. It was great to wear something so light, I felt like I forgot something even though I wasn't. He lay nicely on the floor and so on. When we finished swimming, it was time to find out the truth. THAT WAS COOL! Super absorbent and dries in 20 minutes outside (direct sun, hot day). Don't get me wrong - he didn't suck all the water out of my suit - I wasn't expecting that; HOWEVER, it dried me completely and removed a lot of excess from my suit where I was still wet but not soggy or uncomfortable. how did you wash NICE! When I first used it, it felt like crunchy underwear. After washing it really got softer. Washed only once - soft and does not roll. If it falls apart I'll post an update. But I was so impressed that I let our 3 kids and my husband choose the color and we await their arrival! Enjoy - you won't regret it! :)
