We bought the cropped version to wear under my daughter's prom dress. We had to purchase a child size (12-13) even though her dress size is women's XS. (She is 4 feet 10 inches tall). All of the adult petticoats we considered would be too long and protrude from under the dress, which isn't the look we wanted. too little She wears it under all the dresses in the photos I've attached.
