For many years (decades) I have used halogen PAR30, 50 degree wide flood, long neck, 60W Reflector lamps (75W spare), 2900K, Soft White on my desk. I saw a PAR30, LED bulb, 3000K warm white light, long neck (40 degrees) in a warehouse and thought "why not". Then they run cooler, use less power and are brighter than the halogens they replaced. The tide is near. They are a little lighter and a little bluer. They are a good replacement for LEDs. Do they last the same or longer? Time will tell, so far I'm very happy with it.
