I bought these for a pickup I have just driven. He's big and I'm small. So, inevitably, I would turn a corner or make a quick stop, etc., and my wallet would disappear. So, until I stopped, got out, and walked around the passenger side, there was no way I could get to the inside of my purse that was buried. It's not safe to do this even if you can reach it! But with them on the seat, my wallet stays in place. I was concerned that if I had passengers they would interfere. Not at all. You can turn them a little to the side and it's like they're not there.
