I bought this fabric damper specifically to remove creases and wrinkles from white curtains. Unfortunately, this does not work with scissors. However, it works great with other fabrics such as curtains and shower curtains. It tends to splash a bit and the water tank is quite small so you only get 10-15 minutes of vapor. As stated in the instructions, it takes about two minutes to heat up and deliver steam. It's getting very hot. To reuse, I let it cool for a few minutes before opening and refilling the tank. The tank has a window on both sides for easy visual checking of the water level. Good for small vapers and small jobs.
