It's very cute and I bought it to give our cat a small amount of canned food. The first thing that struck me was that it was made in China and distributed from Romania. The directions on the packaging said to wash with water and no detergent which made me question food safety as I have never bought any cookware that said no detergent should be used! The helpful answers to my questions here convince me that it is safe to wash and even some use the dishwasher. Due to the small size, it moves a little when the cat eats from the plate. Overall nice but that means more hand washing.
