Like all cotton fabrics, this fabric will tumble dry even on low heat, but will be minimal and stretch after brief use. It fits very well in the basket. I have a home double basket laundry sorter with magnetic lid coffee laundry. I had to use 6 clips to hold the pockets open in the basket. The size of the bag is slightly larger than the basket but I find when the clothes reach the top of the basket that's a load in my washing machine so that's a good indicator. The pockets are quite thick and I'm not worried about them fraying or tearing easily. Is the cable white nylon? And the toggle switch is white plastic, so you can close the hole and tighten it. I think the switch may break eventually, but I can easily replace it.
