This pan is ALMOST perfect. FAST

I make a lot of omelettes as I make one for myself almost every day. I've been using this pan to make it for years and wanted to point out a couple of issues that may not be noticeable. But first I'm going to talk about the pros to this article. First, the price is really good for what you get. The surface of the pan is easy to clean and as mine is used daily I'd say that overall it holds up pretty well if I use it often. But there are a few things to consider. If you first look at the pictures of this pan, you will see that the handles are attached with screws. The screw heads are inside the pallet. These screw heads are not screw heads without copper rods. So if you're making thick pancakes or thick omelettes like I am, the egg will stick to those screw heads every time. every time I have to spray these screws with Pam to use them without gluing, which makes them "almost non-stick" rather than truly non-stick. Second, the loops are weak. Hinges are made from the thinnest of all brittle metals. The surface of the pan itself far outlasts the hinges. Since I use mine to make an omelette, the loops are important as they make it very easy to flip the pan. What should last me many, many years will only last a few years. If they solve both of those problems, or design them with handles built into the metal and attached internally, and make hinges that are really durable, I could easily pay double for one. It does a good job of what I need and would be a great product if they solved both of those problems.

Pros
  • Durable non-scratch coating and metal utensils
