If you want your coffee to be as hot as straight from the coffee machine for hours after it has been brewed, then this is the bottle for you! I'd like to see a standard travel coffee mug lid as an option, as it's a bit of a hassle screwing and unscrewing the lid every time I want to sip coffee. However, I'm sure it's a compromise for hot coffee as none of my other "standard" travel mugs come close to matching the heat retention capacity of this mug. Another trade-off is weight. It's heavier than a regular travel mug and adds a noticeable amount of weight to my bag on the morning commute, but again due to the insulation needed to keep the liquid hot. In summary, aside from the minor issues mentioned above, this is the best travel bottle I've had and definitely worth the extra money
