Not quite brown or dark brown, more red

The color wasn't quite brown, I would say more red. It didn't match other leather furniture in the house, which is also brown. Anyway my husband dyed the leather dark brown with shoe polish and it looks great and shiny. Now it fits perfectly. That's nice. Also, there wasn't a metal connector on the connectors where the screw goes in, so the tail is attached with just one screw, good thing that's not one of the legs.
