I haven't tried these mittens in cold weather yet, I ordered size L/XL. I usually use medium or large gloves. Upon receipt I tried them on and found that they fit very snugly. Again, I'm not sure how well they'll warm my hands (I always thought that the airy "pocket space" between my fingers when wearing mittens helps keep my hands warm and also provides some flexibility. But those Those who do have large and especially very large hands must be very careful when fitting.
