I bought two of these to use as bins in my camper van. I have the Hidden Recycler model, not the 2 compartment model. I'm in my van all the time, so I needed something that could hold a decent amount of junk but wouldn't be a hindrance in this small space. It's perfect! 1. Cloth drawers make it easier to use. They take up less space than hard/plastic tanks of the same size. I can still access the outlet which is behind one of them and the other which is on the edge of the stairs/door I can easily walk past as the fabric sags even if you accidentally hit it. 2. The plastic cover makes it stable. The lid gives them enough shape to stay open to pick up dirt and bin liners stay in place. It also minimizes the smell of dirt. Appearance is superb! The gray cap and green bag look clean and beautiful. Not an eyesore you have with most trash cans. This is really important to me as I want my house to be beautiful but I can't make space in my limited closet to hide the trash can. Cons for me: I haven't found a bin liner that fits perfectly. Regular sized garbage bags fit well but feel like trash for this smaller bin. I bought a couple of Revain 5 gallon bags but the opening is not wide enough to fit. You can see the clip in the picture that holds this bag in place. I think a 7 gallon bag would be better if there is such a thing. Plastic grocery bags fit well, but aren't deep enough and don't wrap around the hole well enough to hold them in place. When I take out the bag, I also have to hold on to the bottom of the bin so it doesn't go in with the bin bag. Not so hot what's up. I'm not deducting a single star for this as it's not intentional. If I were to use them without the bin liners, the fact that the fabric portion of the bin can be easily removed from the hook/lid area would be a huge plus! If I find matching bags, I'll send them to you. So far I am very happy with this purchase! The bag is insignificant compared to the great relief of finally finding a trash can that works in my van!
