The name says it all. The installation should be: 1.) Connect 2.) Windows recognizes it 3.) Register fingerprints. INSTEAD you need to go to this sketchy website to download and install schematic software on your computer. Then, even after that, about 1/3 of the time the device doesn't work. What can I say. why own it at all? If it doesn't work, you'll invariably try multiple times, only to be frustrated by entering the PIN Windows Hello forces you to create when you first enroll your fingerprints, and entering the PIN takes just a little longer than using the fingerprint sensor. . All of this to the point where I don't feel like it simplifies anything or saves time in the long run. Wouldn't recommend it.
