If it doesn't work, you'll invariably try multiple times, only to be frustrated by entering the PIN Windows Hello forces you to create when you first enroll your fingerprints, and entering the PIN takes just a little longer than using the fingerprint sensor. . All of this to the point where I don't feel like it simplifies anything or saves time in the long run. Wouldn't recommend it.
