Around week 30, I started noticing swelling and pain in my ankles. I tried the support tube and couldn't handle the effort required to get into the full tights. The good reviews pushed me to the compression stockings. I used to associate compression stockings with elderly diabetics in strapless sandals. Well my pride flew out the door and I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did. I wear them all day to work, only when I get home and at night. By wearing them all day I can stay on my feet at least 1-2 hours longer. When these socks don't match your work clothes, I found great relief in putting them on when I got home and not taking them off until I went to bed (better than 20 minutes if I "lifted my legs up" for relief ). Finally, I tried wearing them at night to see if they would help my hip and knee pain. Unfortunately there are no results. Overall I find my ankles stayed slim before preggo and I didn't have any ankle pain in the morning. For the price it's worth trying. I wear women's size 10-11 (41-42) and have above-average wide calves. I bought L/XL and am happy with the fit. I would like to order 6 packs from the start. I will be ordering multicolored 6 packs as soon as possible.
