I bought this product because of the IDEX direct drive capability. With dual extruder printing, you can print 2 extruders at the same time, doubling the printing speed. This machine is solidly built and even better packaged. This is my fourth 3D printer and by far the best. Dual extruders require a bit of tinkering, but nothing complicated. Other reviewers have complained about the difficulty of leveling the #2 extruders. This was by far the easiest bed-level exercise I've experienced. This machine worked on the very first job and runs 14 hours a day printing gifts for the children. I have not wasted a thread or time on this machine yet. I am very happy with this purchase and will purchase more if needed. I would highly recommend this device to anyone who wants to buy a reliable, well-built 3D printer that is packaged perfectly and won't be damaged out of the box.
