How could such a bad product be made?

As soon as I started working, I was able to buy a normal mouse. So I got hooked on Logitech so I've been sitting on them for 15 years, or even more. The last M560 is on its last breath, the last year the SetPoint software began to fail hard, at some point the settings just fall off, the sense on the cursor and scrolling changes . just trash, you call the shortcut from the tray, everything becomes normal, you turn it off again in a minute, repeated letters to those support did not bring any result, all the recommendations in the trash (maybe did not help) and now the setpoint is seen in a strange behavior similar to mining (when browsing), after which it is removed away, I had to look for analogues, which in general do not exist during normal operation, I tried most of the X-Mouse Button, Remapper, etc. (maybe the buttons are buggy when they are replaced), and the new Options logitech program does not work correctly with this mouse (you can’t configure the side buttons) karoch thought this mouse would change the situation, but only the carcass changed, and *Gsoft remained the same. so buy a mouse, then throw them away because the software is buggy. and without software, a mouse for 3K turns into a mouse for 500 maybe on Windows software the buttons do not understand what they are doing (they minimize all screens, press the Windows button, etc. and do not reassign in any way) bypass it, the company is no longer the same, customer focus has long been gone. the caliper is useless and terrible, they answer for a long time and do not help (similar to dancing with tambourines)

Pros
  • Nothing, similar to the M560, 5 buttons should be exactly as many in a comfortable mouse, but if they work
Cons
  • You can’t imagine worse, I won’t buy Logitech again

well conceived, but in production they decided to save money, and it turned out as always

Has some pros comfortable, fits well in the hand, the wheel switches from ratchet to free scroll, stable connection and long range Some cons: extremely demanding on the surface - it only works normally on a rug, the left button started to fail after a year of inactive use

Its pros: Fast rewind wheel with ratchet off. And frame by frame with the ratchet on. There are two buttons on the side for turning pages while reading back and forth. With its cons. Because of the two batteries, heavy.

I will not recommend to anyone, for an amateur. My previous cheap mouse was more comfortable.
