I love this dress! I wanted a dress for a girl based on the following criteria: beautiful, feminine, comfortable, suitable for a girl by age, without straps and necklines. It's on the long side, up to the shin/calf but still above the ankle so she can play and work after the event. It's so comfortable that she didn't want to take it off after the wedding and has worn it to every special occasion ever since she bought it. Size 12 fits an 11 year old skinny girl. So with a bigger kid it won't be as close to the ankle. The material was thin but there is an inner lining so it wasn't see through in the sun. Excellent purchase!
