I have a 2017 MacBook Air and the only thing I didn't like about the stock charger's design was the giant brick that went into the wall. It was bulky, easy to hit, and covered up too many outlets on the power strip. It has the brick about halfway between two fairly long cables, making it a lot easier to get out of the way and allowing for flexible positioning to use the extra USB ports, which will and won't charge fairly well seems to be running out of juice. prevent the laptop from getting even the slightest charge.
