I bought this item for a new car to be used in public service. I drive all day helping trainees in different places and I have a brand new pickup that doesn't have warning lights yet so I thought this product would be a good fit. It arrived with no suction cups in a box so worn it had holes in it and there was no padding in the packaging. It looked like it had been sent in a poor quality box because there was extra tape here and there to reinforce the spots that didn't work. I think a new box and matching gasket would have been in order, it looks like the box it came from in China in a multi unit box. The two lightsticks were shrink wrapped together and tossed into a small box as much as possible. Due to the lack of a gasket, the cigarette lighter control unit was damaged and some fasteners came loose. There was a bolt and nut in the shrink wrap that came loose from the brackets, but the other nut must have come loose during shipping. The cigarette lighter control still works, but the flash mode switch is damaged and if I'm not careful the case will burst. If I could give zero stars for suction power, I would because they weren't there. In terms of LED functionality, this product is great. Very bright and the quality of the light blocks seems solid. I just really wish the packaging was sturdier to protect the device during shipping. It wasn't damaged enough to return, but it was inconvenient to go to the hardware store and look for suction cups and hardware to make it work properly.
