I've recently started throwing darts and I enjoy it. A few years ago we bought my son a cheap electronic dartboard for Christmas that he never used. So I went and pulled it out of his closet and hung it on the wall. It was fun at first and the whole family started enjoying throwing darts together. Although he had a few problems. The biggest problem was that within a short time, the voice announcing the players, score, etc. started to sound slurred and eventually just stopped. Sometimes the computer restarted in the middle of the game. We would get a lot of MANY rebounds. Since we had fun throwing darts as a family and I mentioned that I would be interested in a better board, my wife bought me this board as a surprise. It came well packaged, easy to install, with clear instructions. We love that it plugs into the wall so battery drain doesn't affect gameplay. The wardrobe looks very beautiful, so much so that my wife agreed to install it in the living room! There are many games and it's easy to choose them! In addition, you can choose between 1 and 8 players or even up to 4 teams. There are 7 volume levels and the beats are always recorded correctly. The voice is clear and understandable, but sometimes the synth voice makes you laugh, like when he says "four." However, this does not detract from the game and even entertains a little! It has two slots 16" apart in the back for hanging directly on the studs and then it has four more holes accessible from the front through which I inserted the black drywall screws. This will securely anchor the entire installation to the wall. good, and makes it worry-free when retrieving darts or opening and closing a cabinet. regular cheap plastic poles paired with some nice metal barrels. One of the plastic poles actually broke and two others broke on our first game night. It wasn't a big problem because we already had other spare darts to keep playing. With that in mind I would recommend purchasing a set of twelve aluminum dart poles with rubber washers at the same time as ordering this board. They cost less than $10 and keep flights safer. and you don't have to worry about them breaking. The shafts fit the barrels snugly and the whole kit is very convenient to use. Overall I am very happy with this dartboard! In my opinion it is worth the price for the looks, the ease of use and the quality of the product. Compared to my old board, there are far fewer jumps on this board and the variety of games and options is much better.
