If you need to carry a whole backpack of equipment to the shooting, plus some other bag of junk, then the suitcase will unload your back and hold all your belongings. The photo shows a comparison with the dimensions of the LowePro 400AW photo backpack and a regular cabin size suitcase. If necessary, you can get the molded bottom and use it as a regular suitcase for things. I chose between this and the Lowepro PhotoStream SP 200, which is much cheaper, but loses in terms of convenience. Plus, when ordering, they promised a cashback of 5000 points, which determined the choice.
