The most important thing is that this solar panel really works, which I can't say about the other ones I've bought before this one. I've had consistent results with it, which speaks to its reliability. This is important for something that will be critical during an emergency. I have this mainly to charge the 280wh portable generator we have. It charges the generator but the highest draw I've seen is 30 watts at the perfect angle and full sun. Anything but full sun reduces the input current drastically (e.g. when a cloud passes it drops to 2-3 watts. So under load I get about half the panel's rated power. Still pretty decent. More power would obviously be better , but for the price and the size of the panel it does the job. Still the overall assembly of the panel could be better. The other one (which almost never works) has a much nicer design with the panel folded in a nice bag with clips, that keep everything closed, and a good carry handle. It's also much more solidly built than this one and I feel like I have to be really careful with it. With tips of different sizes. It has USB-A and USB-C too -Ports so you can charge batteries, mobile phones, etc. There are stands on the back of the panel so you can tilt it and it also has (very thin and light) straps on the corners so that si e can probably hang it, but it's pretty flimsy so I'd be careful with that. All in all it was a good purchase and I'm happy to have it for emergencies. After the last 4 days of power outages I've realized that you just can't be too prepared. This panel helps with charging and gives me peace of mind as it has proven reliable so far. If the design was a little more robust I'd give it five stars but it's still a solid 4 as it actually works. and was a pretty good value.
