Review on Koolertron Shockproof Camera Partition Padded by Nikith Brewster

I have been a semi-professional photographer for 20 years and have tried all carrying solutions during this time, from short shoulder bags to backpacks and slings. Inspired by Galen Rowell's simple approach ("f8 and be there"), I found all of these solutions cumbersome and inadequate. Especially when I was traveling by plane and the camera bag was accommodating one of my valuable carry-on bags. Living in Europe and having traveled extensively over the past few years, I've decided to ditch my camera bag entirely. I use the North Face Recon for my daily commute and travel (best backpack ever) so one day I pulled out some padding inserts from other bags and made a padded tray that sat at the bottom of the main bag and carried my body + lens, Secondary lens if needed and a few accessories. It was perfect and I've been using it for years. Recently I had to give my daughter a special pad, so I had to find a new solution. I was encouraged that enough people came to the same conclusion and that several companies were selling similar solutions. I bought two other more complex solutions but they were too bulky and honestly I don't need too many features. This solution was perfect - it fits snugly in the pocket, is light in color to be visible at the bottom of my pack, and does exactly what I need - to carry my gear comfortably and securely at the bottom of my pack. I got it. Configured to carry Nikon D7100 + attached lens (either 18-200 or 10-20) + second lens (whichever is not on the case). I could add a little third slot for filters or extra batteries if I wanted to, but I just put them somewhere else in my backpack. There are certainly more extensive configurations, but I like the simple ones. So far, I am very satisfied. Haven't taken it on big trips yet, but it worked fine for local trips. Highly recommended.
