I could probably go down a size. Overall these shoes are great. BOA is great for post-riding or stretching exercises, as well as cycling. Easy to turn on. My only complaint is that the toe box is too wide. I like baggy socks, but that's too much and BOA is difficult to adjust in one place. It tends to tighten most near the ankle and then less the farther from the junction. Maybe I could reduce the size, then there would be no problems. I didn't know what to look for until I put them on and felt they were loose. My proposition. If they don't feel loose on your toes like you can't tighten them enough, try a size down and see if that helps. To late for me! Haha.
