According to the instructions, 2 adults need to assemble. I'm 69 years old and I assembled it myself in just 45 minutes. The instructions were very easy to follow. The only thing I had trouble with or misunderstood was that in step 5 the lower rear tie rod was to be attached and then all the bolts were to be tightened. I didn't realize that when complete with that connecting rod it WILL NOT slip behind my toilet. I had to detach that bar, reattach the stand and then reattach the bar from below, which was a hard push but not too bad. I haven't been able or haven't found a way to attach it to the wall yet as I have molding at the bottom of the wall. It doesn't look like it's going to fall off easily yet, so I'm leaving it loose for now. In general I am very satisfied with the stand, it looks very nice.
