My feral kitten has a heated shelter and just before our first hard frost this thermal cat cafe came along. I pocketed it and filled it with water and her food. She had no trouble adjusting. I feed them morning and evening. The feed bowl is always warm (and empty) when I pick it up to fill. Since I feed her a mix of dry and canned food, it was important that her food didn't freeze. The water doesn't freeze either. I'm sure she appreciates it! Stainless steel bowls are VERY easy to clean. So far I haven't been able to touch the kitty (even after 6 months), but she's definitely here all the time.
