I've always wanted to learn how to shave with a straight razor. I used to think I would get a close shave with my gilette, but the straight razor has brought me so much closer. I had previously bought a regular straight razor but never got around to using it because I never took the tools to service it. Even if you have the entire setup, I'd still recommend giving them a try. Pros: Decent grip, somewhat light but not bulky; disposable blades with protective sheaths; a sharp and clean shave with every blade; tight fit between blade and handle; minimal maintenance Cons: The tight fit between the blade and the handle made it difficult to remove the blade at first, but once you master the technique yourself it's not bad at all. The set is excellent. If you are new to using a straight razor or have thought about it but haven't bothered to buy one, I highly recommend this one. If you already have an entire device but just want a quick shave one day without the hassle of cleaning/sharpening the razor, I recommend this. Each razor comes with a plastic edge protection tab that can be easily broken. The body is quite covered in sloping plastic so only the edge + is a bit visible. When attaching the razor to the handle, a very loud click can be heard as it slides into the notch and locks securely into place. It's very tight with no noticeable play and I completely controlled my advantage. I plan to buy more disposable razors in the future when they run out, but these 100 pieces will last me for a long time.
