So far so good - fan still works
I had another fake fan from another manufacturer that only worked for 5 minutes. The seller refunded the money for the defective goods. This has been in operation for about 30 days (August summer heat). It seems to work fine, the engine hums slightly. The original Toyota fan was nearly silent. Apart from a slightly annoying engine noise, it works great. You can tell it doesn't have the same build quality as the original Toyota fan when you hold it in your hands. It's also $150 cheaper than a Toyota replacement. I'll update this review if anything changes, but for now this fan is working as it should.
