Bought this bag specifically for a 3 week trip to Italy. I've been to many crowded cities and tourist attractions that I know are riddled with pickpockets out to get tourists. This tramp was big enough to carry everything I needed for the day - wallet, phone, mirrorless camera and extra lens, plus a light windbreaker that I rolled up. I kept my water bottle in the side pocket which also fitted perfectly. The clip for attaching the zip to the main compartment gave me a sense of security that my belongings were protected while I focused on sightseeing. The bag was large but didn't feel bulky and I never had to inspect it in a museum because it was too big (which can be an issue for a daypack). I would highly recommend this as a holdall and also as an everyday bag for those who love hobo style wallets. The black nylon webbing went with everything and withstood a very active first month of use.
