That's exactly what I was looking for. I'm 40 and have a small belly. I had 3 children. I don't like super tight clothes that I can't breathe in. That's exactly what I wanted. It is loose clothing compared to traditional clothing. Definitely reminiscent of "underwear" over tight spandex. This is best described as "flattening" the tummy rather than holding/pulling it in with very tight clothing. To be honest the belly isn't going anywhere so smoothing is what I'm looking for. I'm a size 14 and XL was perfect. I wouldn't want a big BC, that would be too tight. The belt is about 1 inch above the navel. So it is not a "high waist" garment. This is exactly what I was looking for.
