Good. So I bought this printer specifically for 6 months of free ink, which seemed like a great deal at the start of a college semester. When I received the printer, I immediately found that I could not connect my printer to my HP Smart Print account. This problem existed for several days. The printer was still printing, which I took advantage of because I was printing my school books instead of buying them because it's cheaper. Here are a few things you should know. You can ONLY get free ink if your printer is connected to your HP account. And ink is sold by the number of pages it can print. That's almost $25 for 240 pages! For me it's funny. I didn't research that beforehand. So I ran out of ink very quickly and then refocused on connecting the printer to my HP account. I kept getting the error and was told to call HP and when I did I was told that HP was indeed aware of the problem and continued to sell faulty printers as they were unable to pinpoint the problem. My guess is they will blame everything but their product, network or application. You have no protection. No free ink, even with proof of purchase, unless this is done by linking your printer to your account, which I can't do. The lady on the phone was a delight and I enjoyed working with her. I just wanted other college students to be aware of the risks involved in purchasing this printer.
