Best UV clear coat

I already had another clear coat in my garage. I applied it in two coats but it doesn't offer UV protection. I read that this product is oily and takes forever to dry. The bottle says to spray directly onto the lens. Others here said spray on fabric. I did both: a little on the lens and a little on the cloth, then made sure the lens surface was evenly coated. As others have pointed out, the lens looks even sharper now, but that's because it's oily wet. The next day I noticed that the lenses looked and felt dry, but when I touched them I could feel the product on my fingers. I buffed with a microfiber cloth and repeated. I only allowed the second coat to dry for a couple of hours and instead of using a microfiber cloth to buff, I used the same cloth I used to apply the product. The lenses look dry but probably still have a thin film of oil on them. I know they are well hidden and protected. This product is meant to be long lasting and there is a lot of it in the bottle. Enough to cover after every wash for a year. Even if I clean with PalstiX and apply it once a month, I never have to "repair" it again. The time will show. I also have a large bottle of Complete Buffing Compound. If I really need to restore, I might just need a buff, clean and a clear coat. Spring. That is the plan. If anything changes I will update this review. No news means the product works as expected.
