After assembling, it is very beautiful. The angels rotate well and often catch the light, creating a glitter effect. I bought this as a gift for a friend and knew it would be small as he uses a tea light. But I was a bit disappointed with how thin the corners and fan blades are. The metal is very thin (slightly heavier than "heavy duty" aluminum foil), so it's difficult to attach the corner hooks to the fan without bending one or both. In addition, the fan simply balances on a metal support. A moderate impact can cause it to fall, and when it falls the angels separate from the blades. At the same time I bought the one with the snowflakes for another friend but I returned it after seeing how easily the pieces on this one bend. . The snowflakes had a lot more cuts so I figured they would be even easier to damage than the angels on this one.
