The base watch is a dubious lighting choice
The watch works as expected with no major issues. The only thing that stands out is that for some reason the manufacturer decided that the default backlight feature would flash a bunch of bright colored LEDs instead of actually highlighting the time to see them. Night. We've been able to turn this off through trial and error, but it does little to improve usability.
