I spend several hours a day on the computer. My business depends on my prompt response to email inquiries from my website(s). I type fast too. I think that's why I avoid texting because I don't like communicating at 10% speed! My old Sony Vaio keyboard has gone through several iterations from new computers. Ditch the $5 keyboard that came with every new machine in favor of Sony's tactile feel and true rotary volume control. Ultimately, though, I had to admit it was time to ditch my favorite keyboard. The keys are missing and almost all the lettering has been erased from the keyboard. After much research I chose this Kensington based on many other positive reviews. Well I've only owned the first few hours but I'm already in love and the old VAIO keyboard has already been sent to my Smithsonian collection! What I like about this keyboard: *) Nice mechanical tactile feel of the keys *) Nice full sized keyboard with enough key spacing for my less than tender paws *) Fast and responsive. I can't seem to "get ahead" like I used to with the old one sometimes *) 9 different angles available with front and rear supports at different heights (well, if you keep front UP and back DOWN for a useful entry position! )* ) Easy installation. Take it out of the box plug it into your USB port and start typing*) PERFECT permanent pad for the front wrist. Now I can throw away my separate dirty foam wrist pad that is always on the floor *) BEST OF EVERYTHING: Those pre-programmed keys at the top of the keyboard. They also work great with Git-Go. no programming, no driver disk, just works. Available buttons to: a) bring up the "My Computer" explorer window (I only do this about 50 times a day) b) launch a new default browser window c) bring up the default music/media player and dedicated play buttons /pause/ skip/stop d) mute/volume up/down e) mark your default email program f) open the SEARCH screen on your computer g) calculator I would buy this keyboard again just to have access to all of these features to have. I see that it will save me a lot of time every day. Finally, according to the accompanying documents, this keyboard comes with a LIFETIME (limited) warranty! For real? A 90-day guarantee on thousands of devices these days? Just unbelievable. I almost feel like going ahead and ordering another of these keyboards just to have as a backup, when they stop making them. I think this should be the best keyboard out there at any price point. Why didn't I get one of these keyboards two years ago! only to have as a backup if they stop making them.
