Nice quality fabric, looks great with a little scarf or necklace; I couldn't believe how grown up my 10 year old daughter looked in this; it was so soft and comfortable that she fell asleep in it. Ideal for fall and due to its length, wear with layers like leggings and a long sleeve shirt for winter weather. Looks as expected from the photo. We are very happy with this purchase and I'm glad I bought one in multiple colors - 2 solid and 1 floral. The floral outfit she wore to her birthday party. We originally wanted to throw a pool party and bought this as a possible cover after all the floating mermaid tails fell off and the cake started. But last Sunday she broke her leg and we had to change venues. I was worried about the dress at first, but she looked such a cute young lady at the art party, and the short sleeves were made in such a way that the color didn't get in! Nice dress. Cotton dresses are hardly worn (once each) and look great. The floral tone looks a bit saggy after the first wash. I'll update when the solids are too, but so far they're holding up well.
