Nice coasters but I'm still not sure how well they absorb. The colors are much brighter than the photo online. I actually like the deeper colors in the picture better. Blue is actually much lighter. Almost peacock blue. Condensation from my glasses sits on the bases and is not immediately absorbed. In fact, I checked mine every hour when I first got it a few weeks ago and it took me a few hours to finally settle in. Now I usually quickly pat them dry with a paper towel after use. Glasses have NOT stuck to it so far so that's a definite plus, but I'm wondering if absorption is somewhat inhibited by all that paint soaked in sandstone. However, these are the best coasters I could find in all my searches and experiments with other types and brands, most of which have been horrible failures, which is why I recommend them.
