Review on Millennial Nickel Free Black Belt by Jason Burnside

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, thick, soft leather.

Like many men, I was satisfied for a long time that I could buy a black and a brown belt at any Liquidator discount store for a few euros. This in itself is a frustrating task as they usually all appear out of order with a missing size label, requiring you to search Colombo mode for clues as to which might suit you. When I decided to update my belt wardrobe, I realized that a quality belt can cost upwards of $100. Yes. So as a budget conscious consumer I would wait for a sell out and buy one or two when the price dropped to $30. I was offered to study this strap for a Revain review and sent it with the full expectation that it would be slightly better than average, but nowhere near the $100 Trask strap I've seen recently also bought on offer. The belt arrived this week and I was pleasantly surprised. The skin appears thick, but soft and durable. Very good job of tanning and shearing for an excellent finish and feel. The buckle looks almost identical to the much more expensive belts I own, although durability can only be determined with time and use. If, like me, you felt that only a black belt could meet your needs, you might find this belt worth considering. It may be more suitable for everyday wear due to its width, but it can also be easily paired with a dark suit or suit trousers as the buckle is lower. Highly recommended.
