I bought two of these mats in August 2018. Initially I was happy with them, I think that was because the weather got a bit colder over the next few months. It worked great in the winter, but then in April it got warmer again and I noticed sticky stains on my parasols. I started exploring and noticed the carpet was melting around the edges. When I took it off the dashboard it was very sticky and dirty. It made my dashboard so sticky that I had to use a towel and rubbing alcohol to clean what was left of the dashboard. I live in South Carolina and in the spring and summer we endure extreme heat. This product may be good in the US Northwest and Canada, but I would not recommend it for the southern parts of the US or other locations that must endure extreme heat.
