Review on ๐Ÿช‘ OFM Teal Posture Series Armless Mid Back Task Chair - Stain Resistant Fabric Swivel Chair by Jennifer Irvin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I had to revise my review

Love this chair. My husband built a desk for me to practice my art. I needed a smaller, armless chair that was adjustable in height, back height, and recline. It fit the bill and it was available in turquoise to match my decor. I suppose if I were to change something it would be more padding on the seat, but I'm considering a memory foam pillow or maybe just a thin pillow. It's not uncomfortable, but it's tough. The husband assembled the chair without difficulty. I recently ordered a leather office chair with armrests for a table from our library and I like this OFM chair better as the base feels sturdier. I knocked over a leather chair and fell to the floor, leaning forward once and nearly falling twice. This OFM chair feels sturdier compared to the size of the base. I think that I will be very satisfied with this chair. Addendum from 03.02.17. My 12 year old grandson used this chair. He has high-functioning Asperger's and gets nervous when playing video games. I suspect he was hopping at this point, but broke one of his legs (the plastic broke). Of course, the chair overturned, it fell to the ground, and the back of the chair collapsed. The stool is only six months old, but now it is unusable. I am very disappointed that such a beautiful chair was not more durable. I have revised my rating. It's still a fine chair and will be fine for gentle use. The seat and back of the chair are very hard. Using it for a long time made my back hurt so I had my grandson put it in his room as a study chair, but the chair always looked good until it broke. As much as I love the look, I won't be ordering another chair. I'll look for something more substantial.
