I love the initial fit of these Keens! I love the new insole as it doesn't feel as plasticky as all the others. The "sock fit" around the ankle fits me almost perfectly, may be tighter if you have large ankles as I have smaller ankles. Very pleasant on the first day. I will come back and update the review after they are in the water. Update: I've just spent 8 days in frontier waters with these sandals in and out of the water, hiked cross country on uneven rocky watery muddy trails, worn canoe and these shoes were amazing! They have never let me down, never slipped and maintained their support very well. With this use, the socks fit snugly around the ankle and loosen up a bit, making them perfect. They do take a bit of drying time, but I guess that's to be expected! The new insole was the most comfortable I've experienced when wet. Doesn't rub or hurt after 8 days of heavy use.
