This duffel is quite large a little more heavy-duty than some I own, so it folds down to a slightly-larger 13-1/2" square that's about an inch thick if you do a nice job of folding. If you need the size, this is a great choice, as it's easier than most foldable duffels to put back into itself.It's got pockets on both ends and both sides. The pockets on the "back" side are smaller than the others because they're part of a support band allowing you to stack the duffel atop a rolling suitcase. One of the end pockets opens onto an interior pouch big enough to put one day's change of clothes, including shoes or toiletries.I'm guessing that it's going to be durable, because it's made of rip-stop nylon and put together well, but I'll update my review later if I have any surprises during travel. So far, I think it was a good choice.
