We really wanted a Camco single shackle, but our RV has a 30" door and the single shackle doesn't slide out that long. Either way, this will work just fine; This was really difficult to install because the door frame on our door is a lot narrower than these vertical supports so we had to drill a hole very close to the edge of the side with no hinges or the support would overlap the door frame so the door would . t. We also put a wooden peg in the handles to give them more strength. That will work, but I'd still prefer a single, thicker bar. I even called Camco to see if they carry it, the rep said they do. I told him it would be so easy to make a longer one. Just cut the handle longer but he said they had to go through things like new packaging etc just to make changes to the one they carry. .
