I've tried snapping these lids open (one lid at a time) and they won't snap. I am so disgusted with this product. Don't these companies test their products? I've rotated these lids back and forth, but there's always one side that doesn't snap shut. I tried to push the rubber in harder, thinking the rubber ring inside would get in the way. That also does not work. I don't recommend them. UPDATE: These cannot be used in the microwave. Containers burn FAST and leave scars from microwave use. Sure, most, even if it says "microwave safe." I don't get how safe melted plastic is even if it's BPA free. Plastics are still made from chemicals. I will be using them in my arts and crafts storage.
