The fiber tip is great and very delicate as is the disc. One problem I've always had with all styles is that after a few uses it became unresponsive and I often found myself trying harder and harder to get it to work. However, this fiber tip, like the disc, has not lost any of its feel and holds together well. The fiber tip is made of a stiffer material than other models, which seems to offer a better experience.
