Review on Universal Magnetic Motorcycle Tank Bag - Dracarys Oxford Saddle Bag for Honda Yamaha Suzuki Kawasaki Harley by Mike Pedroza

Revainrating 4 out of 5

WEAK MAGNETS. Doubtful Lightning. Subtle pocket design.

Got a bag. I hoped. First I tried by just holding the phone. Worked well enough. Not sure I always want to look down for navigation and might consider a handlebar mount instead. The only thing I don't like is the look of the cell phone holder on the handlebars. But safety is more important to me than looks. Then I tried the capacity. It contains an amazing amount! I was able to fit 4 soda cans, some clothes and UE BOOM in it. I could fit more. But it was good. However, that's where the problems started. I have a convex but long bobber steel tank (1980 cb750C) with a good contact patch. Even with normal slow city driving. The smallest speed bumps and even just acceleration And this bag slipped into my lap. Not useful and not safe. It would definitely come off when driving on the freeway or at a bigger/higher speed bump. Even after I took some stuff out, it was only clothes and UE BOOM in it, and it still didn't stay. The supplied magnets are very weak. However, the magnetic pockets are cleverly closed with Velcro, so you can easily swap them out. I'm thinking of trying stronger magnets instead of the stock ones before maybe returning this one. However, when I started looking closely, I noticed that the zipper was misaligned in two different places. I just unzipped it and zipped it about 4 times. But I think you get what you pay for. But be careful buyers, it won't be strong enough to support more weight than a phone and light clothes, and I'm worried that the zipper will fail sooner or later. .
